Hello,

For a project, I wish to be able to launch some program with Scilab (this is quite easy by using the "dos" function). My problem is that the execution of this program is a bit long, and I want to continue to work with my scilab session (multitask).

I found the command "start /b" for dos which seems to be the same as the & for unix, but after using this, Scilab become very unstable (sometimes, it close, sometimes it didn't recongnize some function).

Do you know if there is another solution for multitask with Scilab ? I'm using the version 5.1.1, but I have done some test with the 5.3.0 version, it is quite the same.

Thanks for your help !

Yann
